We didn’t overhaul the Snowpack Stretch Down Jacket – we just taught it a few new moves. Specifically, your moves. One of the main things anyone needs when they’re cross-country skiing or snowboarding is unimpeded movement. So, we dialed that up in the Snowpack. The nylon/spandex fabric offers all new levels of contortion and comfort so you can shred powder, not seams. Inside you’ll find the same 650-fill goose down, nature’s greatest insulator, with some added reinforcement. The Snowpack has been mapped with zoned insulation – synthetic in place of down in high-sweat areas. Since goose down doesn’t do well wet, using synthetic insulation in places like the pits, sleeves and collar sidesteps the dreaded sweat-then-freeze experience. Without sacrificing an ounce of packability or the Waterflect DWR finish. Step in and zip up.

COLOR NOTE: Due to natural variation in color, the down insulation may be visible through the fabric on lighter jacket colors. The down is contained just as well as on darker colors and it adds subtly shifting depth to the look. We think you’ll like it.
